SXSW – Ahead of the Curve Campaign

Peter Bjorn & Jonn and the other bands below were shot in Austin Texas during SXSW 2009 for the mtvU campaign Ahead of the Curve. It was a total blast to shoot. We posted up in this non-working power plant for 3 days while band after band came through and played impromptu jams for us. The basement of the power plant was closed down because of snakes and bats. DMV and I sneaked down there and it was even cooler than where we shot all of these bands. Maybe next year we can evolve the campaign by shooting full performances down there… maybe.
